About Scott

I founded Apparent Legal Group, LLC when I identified a gap in traditional family and probate practice. A divorce, adoption, child custody, or probate case has ripple effects beyond the case itself. One way I address these ripple effects is by including a comprehensive will-based estate plan complimentary with each of these case types.[1]

My parents divorced when I was four years old. I have seen firsthand how difficult divorce can be. But I also know that difficult chapters are not the end of the story. Every legal challenge – whether a family transition or managing a loved one’s legacy – is one chapter in your larger story.

My commitment is to compassionately guide you through the challenging chapters, so you can get back to authoring a story to be proud of – one of resilience, joy, and love.

Whenever possible, I seek to find solutions and resolve conflict through fairness, candor, and collaboration. Simultaneously, I am prepared to take the steps necessary to protect your rights and your interests through litigation.

I am proud to be a Family Life Attorney, committed to excellence in probate, estate planning, and family law.
